No, that was aimed specifically at you. They don't want certain people posing hard questions!
Sorry to hear you are leaving the NYC ER. I'm on my way there. Would have been nice to fly together again. |

You're going to like the 737-700s.
They are little Ferraris compared to the 800s. Lots of power and they stop on a dime. Took one into Key West the other day for the first time. 4800' of runway is twice as much as you really need. Now if they could just do something about the recirc fan that sounds like a hurricane. Did you go out full? |

Any DAL-N guys know if we are getting paid tonight? I would assume this is our last NWA paycheck, as it would include overs and per-diem from December. I would think our first check on the DAL system would be the first advance check for Feb. Anyone.......anyone........anyone????
I think you will get paid on the 15th, just like any delta guy....:D |

The airbus has recirc fans that just about make you feel deaf in the cockpit. I was always amazed how quiet it got when you shut it down.

No headwind and it was still a reduced thrust T/O. Hartsfield was VFR though. Things might be different if you needed to carry alternate gas. Despite the agility and excellent performance of the 700, I certainly wouldn't want to abort just prior to V1 at that airport. I don't care what the ODM says, to the naked eye its one of those that looks like there's no way you could stop. |

Yes. Completely full. No problem at all.

Sounds like one of those airports where the performance says you can stop but if you actually were to see the calculations, you would notice that you can do it, but you only would have .25 inches of pavement left.... |
