What about those CVG 73NB that is well staffed? Do you think they'll hit that for any possible CVG 7ER new base? I hope it won't affect anything in west coast Status quo is a beautiful thing.

That's interesting due to the fact that the 88B ATL is the only obviously short category that we have.

Whats the difference between an A and B category? Also if I'm reading some of this right, is DAL getting an Africa base for crews?

Not a "crew base" in Africa. Staging some airplanes off a Portugese island near Africa. (SAL; Cape Verde) Kind of a mini "connecting-hub".
777/767/A330 from CONUS to the island and then on to the various cities in Africa. Maybe some 757s based there? DAL 767 crews are dual qualified. Crews still US based. Maybe 10-12 day trips? Similar to NWA's operation in the Pacific.
All rumor. Nothing official that I know.
DAL has a lot of unused route authority in Africa from the PanAm purchase.

This entire thing is just getting too interesting. I surely hope this AE is everything that its hyped up to be. Otherwise, I'm going to be let down.

A is Captain and B is First Officer.

So let's say you were a 7ER FO in NYC, around the bottom lineholders / top of reserves. Would you be worried about getting displaced even if there are no displacements in that category? That would be the contingency displacement talked about in the PWA, right?
