The tab in iCrew is only for viewing who has the JS. Once the new options are in place we should be able to book it in TravelNet just like booking NR travel or company travel. You can currently view your booking on TravelNet. It shows up just like a NR listing.

This is why I've used the word "request" in all my previous posts on the subject. There is almost no possibility of negotiating a new PWA in 270 days. We will have to request an earlier start. Management will have to agree. I want DALPA to make the request, and I want to hear management's response.

Thanks to all for the replies. I'm a "point and click" Mac guy and re-learning all this menu navigation is proving to be quite the challenge!

I have seen some throw a 1-1.8 billion dollar savings out there for PBS.
Reserves are down about 20% We are flying about 60-65 hrs per pilot per month, that was in the 40's I have no hard number but I am guessing our contract costs about three billion a year less for about 2000 more pilots. The big change in pilot needs came from give backs some refuse to recognize because they like the changes. Here are just a few of perhaps 100 or more contract changes that each reduced jobs needed. 1. Vacation as pay and no credit (HUGE, around 500 captains jobs) 2. Training as pay and no credit 3. Elimination of the cap, paid for what you fly vice a 75 hour max with hours over spilling into next month. (again HUGE) 4. Recovery flying 5. RAW score system (greater reduction in reserves then PBS) Total Delta pilots costs in 04 were around 2 billion dollars per year. That dropped to around 1 to 1.1 billion after all the give backs and the reduction in total number of pilots. I undestand with the pay raises and addition of the NWA pilots we are back up around 2 to 2.2 billion per year not counting NWA pilot retirement funding. Total revenue seems to be around 28 billion so total pilot costs should be around 7 to 8 percent of revenue or perhaps as high as 9 percent depending on the level of funding to the retirement plan. |

Thanks a lot for providing The Cleared List. It is really helpful. I have a question I'd like to ask: Do Delta employess have to pay for a pet in cabin, when nonreving on DL flights? The Cleared List editor responds: Yes, pet in cabin fees do apply. PETC space is not confirmed, of course, so you’ll be standby for a seat and your pet will be standby for PETC availability. The maximum number of pets accepted in a cabin will vary depending on the operating carrier, type of aircraft, and which cabin you’re assigned. OR maybe you could put it in your pocket. |
thanks!
I'm guessing it's $75 |
Hey guys,
I don't have anything substantive to offer. Working on a new book. Just wanted ACL, 80 and FTB to check out my new avatar. Something about getting mired in "80s" music? |
Speaking of Avatar. I saw it last night at an IMAX 3D theater. I noticed LOTS of DAL guys were used as pilots in the final attack sequence. Seems that, in addition to DAL APC monitor guy, Hollywood has been paying attention to this thread as well. Carl is the "Get Some!" guy. ;)
