Not to mention there are no moving costs paid for (unless your base closes and youre the last one out) or moving days provided for with said base changes. The idea the commuting is a pure choice is absurd. |

Not to mention if you end up getting multiple green slips and beginnin to "roll thunder".... everyone and their dog will be checking your schedule to crosscheck that the greenslip was awarded in order correctly.
I'm not kidding. My dog knows my log in! (as per the latest memo, he won't check my schedule when I'm in flight. Otherwise, no treats) Got your message tonight when I got in... I'll call ya tomorrow. Hope all is well! |

"Pineal"...do you guys mean Pinal Airpark near Marana, Az north of Tucson?
Been there a few times with our jets. I do not know if you can get near any of it. Evergreen has a security gate about a mile from the flight line. |

I wonder how many de-ice trucks we could buy with the amount of money we are losing for canceling flights in ATL due to snow flurries? Seems like after the last two years it might be a good idea to invest in enough de-ice equipment to run an airline when a little snow shows up. Looks like over 2000 flights in a seven day period for a couple small snow storms.

The AF1 is pretty cool in that they talk about the Baghdad flight in 2003 but Marine 1 is fascinating in that they show a guy getting trained to fly in and out of the WH. It was like his OE. "okay stay to the left over here, just don't hit the tree and then make your turn..." |
