Only heard pre-merger NWA guys call themselves that. Freaking hilarious in my opinion- although only in jest. If a guy is saying to to make a point to be disgruntled, I don't have much time for them. Wouldn't ever call any guy that to his face though.
This is the internet, therefore I can say whatever I want. :D Schwanker;) |

Maybe some hold the term NERD with endearment and pride. After all, NERDs are far too intelligent to pass the Delta psych test!
Schwanker;) Like I said, I think it's hilarious as long as you don't use it to hang on to something that drags everyone down. Nothing is more obnoxious than flying with some dude that can't let go of the past and whines about it constantly. |

It is the COMPANY'S job to worry about domination. It is OUR job to collect as many golden eggs from the goose as we can. and that, young Jedi, is why you fail. Nu Love the Jedi reference. Do or Do not, there is no try! |

Captain pay on the CRJ900s should begin just shy of $103/hr and topping out at $112 and not starting in the low $60s and topping off 18 years later at $100ish. 50 seaters ought to be the same as the 76 seaters. They're all airplanes, they all take up the same amount of gate space, they all require 3 miles seperation.
FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FOR ALL DCI :D Really? What are you trying to say here. You want DCI pilots to make more money? That's the last thing I should ever care about. I mean if they make more money, and you're talking like more than double, then that'll increase DCI costs over what they're already starting to get to now that their longevity costs are increasing. And if its for all DCIs then your effectively ending the whipsaw all in the name of fairness and safety?!? If DCI costs go up, then its not as cheap to use them and why use them so heavily if its not cheaper? Money talks. You're advocating making them more expensive as we approach C2012 and therefore decreasing the incentive to use them or use them against us?!? Thats dumb. You're a big dumby. When I think of you, I think of a Ferrari, wrapped around a light pole. Dumby. http://img.metro.co.uk/i/pix/2008/10...EX_450x300.jpg |

Nu The old model of unions extracting every last penny from the corporation regardless of profits is dead. There is too much competition in the global economy and margins are too thin. We had better care whether we dominate the world or the bottom half of us won't have jobs. |

That is the exact attitude that has the UAW in such a poor position. When is the last time any one built a Union auto plant lately?
