I think a lot of the guys that got bumped out when ANC closed and those ANC 747 guys came down here will be trying to get back in. Especially if they bumped down to 755 in DTW or MSP. I know of a couple of guys this happened to and they will definitly bid back in.

Don't know. I would. Took a pay cut to stay in base on the last AE. Just depends. Situations change.

Hey guys, This just in! First, my FA wife just told me that instead of granting LOA’s for this summer like usual, they are going to make them all fly 85 hours. As a commuter, she is not pleased, but it sounds like something is up. Secondly, apparently DAL S FA’s are going to be able to fly the ATL 6 and 7 day A330 trips to Narita. This means that DAL S FA’s will be flying exclusively with DAL N pilots. Hmmmm

Rumors of European charters this summer , but that is all I have heard on the 320. Something about U-2 tour and some NBA teams in Europe.

The other thing about the ER, that is becoming apparent everywhere is that it is a jack of all trades. There will probably be some SEA-NRT-HNL-LAX sort of trips, and maybe a few other Pacific adventures, but you can bet there will be plenty of 75 trips to ATL, MCO, etc... The 330 seems like it is a pure international bird, and bidding it is a virtual guarantee that you'll be avoiding the 2 and 3 day domestic trips. Somewhat related: When does SLC 767 either close or become an ER category?

The law according to PG is that all commuting SEA guys must bid the base to stop commuting, because it is or may cost him money. So guys, Bid SEA if you live there, because I am worried sick about Pineapple while I am here in HNL eating fresh Pineapple.

If I am not mistaken, the DAL-n FAs base is closing at the end of April In ATL, and the 747 does the month of May ATL-NRT. I suppose south FAs will be flying the 747 for May???????? That will be interesting!
