I'm displacing back to the 88. Looking forward to being a lineholder. As a commuter, I have decided to chase quality of life.

Hope everyone is doing well.

Cheers!

G. Dude, you have no idea what you started! This thread rocks, has rocked, and will rock. Thanks for your service as a fellow zoomie. Welcome home and looking forward to buying you a beverage if/when we cross paths.

You real men on the 9 shouldn't even need a release. Just sit down, pimp slap the FO a couple times, squeeze the A-line's jugs, and then launch in the general direction of where you're going because the s-o-b will get there...always. Why will it get there? Because you have a hairy chest that would make hasslehoff jealous and brass balls clanging so loud that when you die they'll replace the bell in Big Ben with them.

They put the full last name on the lines. That is kinda nice! Makes it easier to firgure out who got what you want.

Orrrrr....they're doing the j/s or other nonrev a favor. They've done it for me more than once.

Is that the first time they've done that?

Did that plenty of times... most of the time it was other reasons.

I ride in the JS of JB and UAL about twice a month. Full Airbuses and they nearly always go out SE. Also they almost always taxi to the gate SE with no APU. We taxi SE in a full MD88 at 150,000 lbs so I am sure the A320 can handle it.

FWIW, In MEM, the majority of the taxi out/ins are always going to be 2 engine taxi. Because of the shape of the terminal (alley's) we have to have both engines so as not to blast all the RJ gates with the higher thrust needed to taxi single engine. Also the taxi times are so short that often you need them fired up right away to allow for warm up time.

With that said, there are some opportunities available to cut some fuel out with fuel savings. Especially with conditioned air, gpu plugged in etc.
