So I can get this straight, how late could the deadhead be and still be legal?

But, seriously, I thought we were all just "blessed." There isn't any is there? I'm real gullible so you can get me with just about anything!!

I was not even close to getting one of the longer asia trips in may.

Denny

Sorry about the trips going too senior, but your liver thanks you:D

There was the same guide we had back in the day (with new logos) on the fleet page, but I don't see it now. Guess the lawyers didn't like the color pictures:eek: There are different radios, some minor battery and A/C stuff, but not a big deal.

Captain, 13 hrs scheduled 16 actual of duty. You start duty at report.
As I understand it Whitlow does not detail this and you are in the contractual arena that deals with duty, not SC which is neither duty nor rest. Clear. :D

Read Section 12:d

And that is the reason we can leave the jet. The ground crew has an aural horn as well as a kill switch and a bottle discharge.

:p

Does suit up pay count towards reserve guarantee?

Thanks for the previous answers sailingfun, ACL, & anyone else I forgot. :p

johnso29 04-22-2010 12:28 PM

BTW, I ended not doing the trip as the original crew only has a 3 minute delay so they opted to keep them on it. So I was told I'd receive suit up pay & be released to rest at my original report time of 1625. Anyone know how long that rest would be? I just came off a X day for SC today.

acl65pilot 04-22-2010 12:29 PM

Suit up pay goes towards guarantee.

Results:
1) Regular pilot – single pay and credit for rotation #1.
2) Reserve pilot - suit up pay and credit, and additional time free of duty under
Section 23 S. 11.

But the DC-9 and DC-9-88 requries a man of steal to go running towards the burning tail and save the plane as I did here.
