Oh, and I got the expected and unwanted answer to the pay question we were talking about regarding the longevity step. I'll try to send you a PM when I get a chance. I'm still looking into it, but it's not looking good.

Thanks for the info. :)

In regards to our longevity raise, if it's the answer we talked about I will be filing a grievance. Our longevity is determined by either the former NWA way or the DAL way. They can't have a combination of the two!

No. I started SC @ 0500 & was assigned the trip @ 1510 for a 1625 report. Doesn't matter because 1) The trip was removed & remained with the original crew 2)Apparently SC isn't duty time. This is another step backwards in workrules for DAL N pilots. Our SC did count as duty time, & I think it should be changed.

Heyas Johns,

Ya, you need to be careful on this. But the thing to remember is that when you are on reserve, your required available period DOES count (per Whitlow), and you need to watch your duty out time for the 16 hours.

You also need to watch instances of compensatory rest. If you get less than the FAR required rest the night before, and slip into reduced rest, you have to be SURE your compensatory rest begins NO LATER than 24 hours after the BEGINNING of your reduced rest the night before.

With this new PWA, I've had to go back to logging my duty and rest times like the "bad, old" commuter days.

Y'all be careful now, ya hear?

Nu

Nu, I think that is clear. I have not seen a reduced rest with a SC the day after. Normally they will make sure you get normal rest prior to your SC period. It will normally pop up as a required rest period that you need to acknowledge.

Waste of a pick imho. The glossy eyed look he had getting off the ground after throwing a pick against FL in the national championship game was not something I'd expect a Brady, Favre, Ryan, Warner, Brees etc to have. Just a Romo.
