RAW Score - "Random, Arbitrary, Wing-it Score....
The only thing that RAW around here is my ---!
SC the last day of reserve prior to a month on a regular line. And next to the highest RAW score out of 12 on call pilots! Hey DALPA, there has got to be a better way!

Well, I can top that TC. THE highest RAW, coming off a SC, and STILL flying a trip tomorrow. By far the highest RAW for the reserve availability. AND, coming off SC.

One of the things that should be addressed is training in general. I have been in the SIM with just me and the instructor - it's horrible. With the instructor trying to fill two jobs it is the worst of both worlds. I also believe the two captains or two FOs doesn't even work very well. An FO sitting in the Captain seat doesn't make a very good Captain and a Captain (unless he's a LCA) doesn't make a very good FO. I also agree that the DGS "You'll get it on the line" isn't a very good way to train anybody. Everything we do in the SIM should be the same as on the line (except of course the EMERGENCIES we never want to see on the line

If they have tried that with you then you need to call the fleet captain and stop the training. Its not allowed by policy so you will be backed to the hilt.

Not true, depending on the training module, the IP is allowed to serve as a seat filler and perform duties as an instructor. AMF, the IP can do anything up to and including the MV. Cannot perform the LOE though. Generally, DAL recognizes the need for a qualified seat filler.

PM me and I'll provide proof of multiple occasions with multiple people on multiple fleets.
In each case speaking with the fleet captain had no effect other than a perfunctory "we'll get you seat fillers...
After all this the only seat fillers are for 303/304, 403/404
In one case 2 pilots went through this single pilot scenario 5 days apart even after pleading with the fleet captain to combine the 2 single pilots...
