Sink,

Great post! This should be required reading and testable in the interview for all guys wanting to come to momma D. I think you just boiled down about 1000 pages of this thread from the premerger SLI debates.

Ferd

Oh, you said testable. I read that one a little too fast the first time through. I never went through Delta's interview process and I was starting to wonder . . . .

Always bid what ya want, and want what ya bid. I didn't, and now I missed out. Oh well, maybe next time. ;)

I left out MSP7ERB regular line. Who knew? It will be there for the next one.

Super, do you have a category freeze since you reinstated to the 320? Or did that go away when you were displaced?

I see a guy junior to me got ATL that I figured was frozen (as am I) and just trying to figure out how it happened. I'm guessing he was displaced and then recalled to the 320 as well.

Thanks

Leine,

It went away with our involutary displacement. Isn't your 2 year lock up anyway?

What he said :)

I'm thinking many are shocked it went so junior, so many more will be bidding it next time. I had DTW 7ER, but forgot MSP 7ER.:o

Missed ya by "THAT MUCH", but bet we're in NRT a lot. Congrats on SEA my friend.

Now.........send me your list of LAX hotels, I'm into going over the day before and sleeping in for even an early afternoon dept. But, now that my commute is a whole hour or something..........maybe I'll re think this.

CONGRATS to all who got what they wanted. I'm tak'en momma to breakfast to celebrate.

Ferd

PS Denny, I went to Paris and back with Dave Dau......, great guy. Hope to fly with him again in LAX. Even as an LCA.

Thanks Ferd!:) Did you see how senior you would have been is SEA? Think about it!:)

As far as hotels go, I won't be much help. I haven't spent alot of nights in LA. If you don't use Priceline, the Hacienda Hotel is probably the cheapest at, I believe around $60-65 a night. I've used Priceline with a $50 bid (plus tax) and gotten both the airport doubletree and airport crowne plaza. Both MUCH nicer than the hacienda. If I don't get the bid then the hacienda is my fall back.

Yes he is a great guy. I've flown with him. Looks like he doing something different though.

:DYou didn't have to show yours? I don't know why they asked me, I passed the Clay Fauchee (sp?) test so they should have already known I didn't have any:eek:

However, let me say this about that...........all interview candidates must read this entire thread. And yes, ACL or FTB will be in the interview to check.

Denny,

I've never done priceline but I'll give it a try. Yeah, your right.......looks like I may have been more senior in SEA as two of the Asia flyers that were above me in MSP are now above me in LAX. For any LAX 75As reading this, your gonna love working with "Big Mike". The kinda guy that just lights up a room when he walks in.

When do you think the conversions will be? I don't want to pay for my CQ hotel so it needs to be before Aug:D
