I'm not convinced that that many people did that. The company and the union were monitoring this. Also if you look at the movement, alot of people bid out of MSP.

Cant wait for the next bid, I hear it will be bigger ;)

I believe they called or attempted to call every pilot in that situation.

I agree. The union was on top of this. MSP is just becoming junior.

Thanks Buzz, look'en forward to it. Now, who do we see about getting a Starbucks in "our" terminal??

No kidding. We need better food options as well. I keep hearing rumors about upgrades but don't see it happening. Terminal 6 has much better choices. I think there's a Starbucks over there.

where can we see what slots went unfilled?

MEM320B went to a bottom guy also, were seats left unfilled in MEM?

Of the present 97 slots in NYCM88F/O, there will be 32 unfilled by the end of the training on this AE.

New hires get ready for Kew Gardens!!!

There's far more open slots up in MSP on the M88 and they actually had a vacancy out for those positions meaning they want bodies there.

We have no idea how many they actually want to backfill in NYC (especially with all the NYC expansion delays, they might hold off on filling it to the max) . They knew guys would leave.

I'd say things are looking pretty darn good for a new hire if they wanted to avoid NYC or at least make it a short stay.

MSP had more unfilled slots than NYC i think. It appears that mem320 and NYC73n had unfilled spots also. Newbs could go anywhere, and it may not even be to the dc9 or m88 either

It will be interesting to see how much you moved up the list. Quick analysis looks like MSP 320 would also be a new hire spot. 77 bid out and only 12 came in for an approximate shortage of 45ish slots.

I hope you are right but i am wondering about the lifespan of the 320 in MSP. I am starting to think it is going to get smaller as the 88/90 plus up. I hope I am wrong and if you ask my wife I am most of the time so who knows. I do know there are is a lot of 320/319 flying out of LGA and no base:confused:
