Buzz,

How did you do - I went backwards again - may even be back on reserve - may have to look at moving out of LAX - for all the upward movement not happening out west!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I actually moved up a couple. Should be on the ragged edge of a line holder again.

Herman, Amazon has the best prices. For some reason, they're even cheaper than the discount I get directly from the publisher. I'd start with Dereliction of Duty, the first one. Book #4, which I should be working on right now as I peruse APC instead, will be out in September.

So when do we start paying our first merger assessments, now that insufficient bidder has occurred on 744B?

At fNW if you were awarded a position due to insufficient bidder, you were considered junior to everyone that was on the correct side of the fence. Don't recall reading any language like that in the SLI award so I'm guessing sooner or later we'll see a return to arbitration and have to take a union imposed pay cut...

I don't. But I will have to commute to the mil reserve job. Once a month can't be too bad.

If you are looking at the 2 who are moving from NYC 765/7ER B, according to the seniority list, they are both fNWA guys.

Denny

Thanks, I was too lazy to look it up. It will happen sooner rather than later.

Heyas,

Batted par on this AE. The tons of refugees to DTW 7ER from CVG (as expected) were countered somewhat by reinstatements and new AEs.

I was fishing for a A slot anywhere, but it looks like the min AWARDED A spot is hovering around the %61 area. Looks like most of the new 88 slots were filled by displacements off the -9. But you can't win if you don't play.

OTOH on the FO side, SEA (~11.5k !!), the 330 (~9500 in DTW) and the Whale (~9000) especially have gone incredibly junior. In the past, those were usually senior FO spots for those who were going to retire out of the right seat, and now SEA is practically a new hire base.

Newbies are going to have some tough choices. Looks like MSP ER will be available practically out of the shoot, SEA is doable with a bit of a wait, and NYC is totally avoidable.

Interesting times...

Nu

The NYC 765F/O that got DTW744F/O was a DC9 guy previous to the merger.... No insufficient bidders...
