Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?

Let's see. Schwanker posts something that even you say was a good argument. But then his last sentence make him lose credibility in your eyes and everything you used to think was good, is now not.
Note to self: If you say one thing that tsquare doesn't agree with, you lose all credibility and then he has to disagree with everything that he used to agree with.

Note to everybody: Carl knows everything. Since he has the unique perspective of having come from the (non-surviving for lack of a better term) company his views are the only ones that have any validity, so anything or any that you have about operations or IT are just plain wrong. Carl simply made the mistake of checking the pilot block on his application instead of the CEO block. Oh.. except that Carl never makes mistakes, so it must have been intentional. Which essentially means that his opinion is as worthless as everybody else's on this forum.

fyp... but by this comment I guess that your constant belittling of all things south and hand wringing is infinitely more productive.
And that is total b.s.
And that should not be happening and hopefully someone will take care of it shortly. I'm going to say something that will probably get me stoned by a mob, remember only men are allowed to throw stones - Life of Brian, but when many of us new hires were sitting in initial indoc there were multiple times we scratched our heads over procedures. I think thats when you realize this airline is old and set in its ways and so are many people and those who wanted to change things (go talk to the fine folks in JFK) will tell you how they tried and gave up.
All that said, I'll say today what I said then: "thank God I'm here, and if thats the way they want it done then I'll do it with pride, but I hope they change it though ."
I think as a DALS pilot you hear someone complain about how DALS did it and the initial reaction is to defend it as its not so much about the subject matter but how it was raised. But at the same time it was complained about premerger.
I'm just calling it how I see it. We don't need to fly 767/757s like we flew 727s because some guy thinks it should be done that way. We shouldn't have maintained MD11s like they were L1011s to the verge of having warranties canceled. And whatever other example can be raised.
But I sure hope to God what made Delta a great place for pilots to work remains intact and thats going to take us as a group fighting to keep it that way.
Keep the good and the great, throw out the dumb and the bad. Goes along with if you need it run it, if you don't, don't run it.
My hope is the pressure comes from higher up where the real decisions are made to get with the combined program especially as we move forward. Especially since the ones in power aren't necessarily tied to either airline and probably will have little patience for those who buck change. And that's textbook business management.
Sorry for the long response.

T, Firstmob.........
I'll by your comments when you reel in your THREE guys who do nothing but bash fNWA guys. Plus, the best I can figure YOUR 3 guys are union types which IMHO makes it much worse. How can we go forward when our union types hate us so much.
Once again, I suggest we look at the arguments we post and realize we have seen it both ways. Yes, I know more change is coming and I'm looking forward to it.
But, lets be equal opportunity critics towards OUR "overbearing asses"
