There are ACARS issues in that region of the world.

What is the Flow agreement rumor?

There is a rumor that has been alluded to on the DALPA board about the MEC meeting and the Flow agreement with Compass/Mesaba. Anybody know what's going on?

Thanks,

According to the update I received from my reps, to date no changes have been made to the flow agreements and no agreements have been reached.

To put that plainly, there is no new to report because no news has been made.

Spoke to my rep and got the same thing, no changes/news, everything is still intact for now.

I've had to call the union, the cpsc, and the scheduling supervisor a couple times this week for more than 1 issue, read below

The schedulers are pulling shenanigans everyday. My buddy got rolled into his golden day, then got further delayed, then the flight they rolled him into his golden day for got cancelled!!!

Then they tried to jip him out of his partial payback day so they could stick him on a 0600 SC. He had to call the CPSC just to get it squared away. It's ridiculous because they pull this crap in hopes that we will roll over or not catch it.

They're trying to pull stuff alot more often now and its getting old. This is why its so important to know the contract because its your only way to protect yourself.

They are only doing it because the airline is short. From what I see, it looks like they are VERY short and 305 new-hires won't cut it. This AE in September had better be big and it better be accompanied by an continuation of hiring announcement. Or, I see us canceling a bunch of flights down the road.

Who knows but they did announce a Fall Fare sale this week, and that may mean future bookings are weak.

The airline is short pilots for July/August. With planned seasonal slowdown we'll be way overstaffed again by late September. Do you want seasonal furloughs, or would you rather man for the midpoint of flight hours and give guys the opportunity for overtime?

One other point...all the analysts think we're going to report very nice earnings on Monday. That'll be the first realistic quarterly profit in a long time, and might make us slightly profitable for the year so far. It's likely that we'll make money in the Q3, but airlines generally lose money in Q4. I haven't seen solid predictions for 2011. Maybe you can tell us what you're going to do with the global economy, the price of oil, and our industry for next year! Please choose to make it all good, newK!

Hey, are your powers diminished as the DC-9-30's are parked, or are they transferrable on an AE to the MD88/90? CLMP, FTB? I need newK guidance!:)
