So in theory, guys could flip flop seniority leaving Compass/Masaba who are in the same Delta class. Very interesting.

A guy's seniority number at Compass/Mesaba/ASA/Comair or SWA/AMR/UAL for that matter, or any other airline should have zero bearing on his seniority number at DAL. The fact that some have a flow through agreement means they're entitled to a class date, and therefore a DAL seniority number, but not to any special rules regarding what that number is.

Thanks Launchpad. Welcome back!

Are you in the 16th class? I'm at the ATL Hotel tonight. Is that the training hotel?

Lets not state hotels on a public board.

How can recalls be in the same class with the newhires?

New Hire Indoc is 2 weeks long.

Recall Indoc is 1 week long.

I would say you might be starting on the same date, however you will be in another classroom...If you are in the 16th class you will have a lot ot fun!

If its anything like it was when I came back two years ago, the recall guys attend select indoc classes, not the whole thing. New Hires get the complete fire house treatment.

Hotel paid by DAL during indoc, on your own during the ac training. Salary pay, no pr.diem, until done with IOE. unless something has changed in the last three years. Enjoy it to the max...

From what I understand the CPS and Mesaba guys that are to be in that AUG 16th class but will not show up will be able to bid on those A/C that are in the assignment drop as well as bid on the next AE. They start accruing longevity on Aug 16th.
