Yeah Iguess it comes out even in the end....I bet there are probably 50% that are plesantly surprised at the drop and 50% that open it and say what the *******. Either way I guess thats why seniority has its advantages....Which I no longer have but happy to be at the bottom!

And lots of vacancies for fDAL pilots to bid on in fNWA bases. Don't get the significance of your statement.

Nobody knows that until all the shaking out gets shaken out. NYC going more senior than some thought may have something to do with the fact that 777 and 765 positions went from ATL to JFK.

What I see so far is the fNWA "waves" into fDAL bases either haven't happened or have been equally offset by "waves" of fDAL guys flowing into fNWA bases and aircraft. All good stuff in my book.

Carl
Carl, The bases are going to shake out with DTW, MSP and NYC being junior. It looks like DTW and MSP will be the bottom bases. Not sure why you would dispute that. Just look at the unfilled positions in the bids.
Second no 777 time has been moved from ATL to NYC since the merger. I know you know this so I don't know why you posted it but the 777 category in NYC is being closed. It is moving to DTW. Thats just a bit different from being expanded with ATL time. In fact night and day different.

I agree. That's different from your previous post saying only DTW and MSP will be junior.

That's your opinion, mine is that JFK will be the most junior in most categories. But you know what they say about opinions.

I posted it because I made a mistake with a hastily worded post. I said the 777 and 765 had flying moved from ATL to JFK...it was just 765 flying.

The rest of your previous post I was responding to had the familiar odor of "everything NWA sucks" which seems to be a requirement of your posts. It's tiresome.

I didn't get the point/tone of it either. Seemed a little like a case was attempted to be made that the South brought "super premium geographical domiciles" and are getting screwed because there isn't a freeze protecting them or something.

Srsly, there will be bases that tend to be junior regardless of any merger or not. So what.

Soooo..... Tennessee football players are being taught how to take a shower. Poor hygiene has forced the coach to take these drastic measures on how to pick up and use the soap in the shower!!! Guess they had an outbreak of staph. I was gonna post a pic of a player with staph but I got grossed out....eeewwww. Those poor cheerleaders are now contaminated.

Ok Carl, DTW and MSP will be the senior bases in the system!
Its not about NW sucks. Its about where the bases will shake out. I think the answer to that is obvious. There is a reason why NW has so many commuters. Its not a slam on NW pilots. They don't choose routes or basing.
I don't understand the huge chip on the shoulder a very few NWA pilots seem to have. The ones I know personally and the ones I have flown with so far are all great individuals and pilots. Some however take every single thing as personal. I have never initiated a single subject putting down NW. I have only responded to posts with obvious errors, miss truths or half truths.
Life is not so bad at Delta Carl, relax a bit and you might even find something you like. Every NWA pilot I have talked with is glad the merger happened. Many saw the highest paychecks of their career this summer even before the pay cuts. Think of the glass as half full not half empty.
