Money does not mean the world to me. I am at the bottom of the list and already make more than I spend. It's all about the base and QOL. I don't think its fair to burn a guy for that. He is happy. I for one plan on moving to the base and equipment that makes me happy and move left only if/when, it suits my QOL. Moving left may never work out for me but I've got no ego to bruise and pleanty of cash as it is. Bid what you want, want what you bid. Buy what you can afford and live like a king. |

There is nothing to grieve. Section 23.O. is very clear that an out of base white slip is awarded before a short call reserve for a <12 hr call out. |

I really was serious that my ego (and it's big) doesn't need to be a captain. Also, when I talked about people jumping between bases with the APA I wasn't talking about me. I never did it as it's all about the commute for me and I didn't want the extra time zone problems that DTW caused.
