Actually you can multiply that by nine or so. Plan is for a few to go to the desert until the economy improves. They may be on a one for one replacement so in essence no mainline growth.
When these come onboard we will have to qual all 88 pilots on the 90. |
This one as I heard it came from Tech-OPS. It is a lot farther than rumor stage. We of course could scrap the deal but it is less likely this time.

No the initial three will come from Boeing Finance lease corp. The other 25 or so will come from China!
Has that been officially announced yet? Or is it still just speculation? I heard that they have been purchased, but didn't know if it was officially announced yet. |
Not announced and not speculation. That is as far as I can post.

If this turns out to be true... is it coincidental that the 90s became firm right after the 76 seat settlement?
|
It might be why he agreed to it, but as stated that is besides the point.

What if DAL comes and offers 25 757s added to the fleet, are we certain LM wouldn't give up more scope? |
It matters to all points. Once the flying is given away it is gone for good. The more large rjs the less for Delta Pilots. No matter how you slice it.
