Super,

I've found that you have to pray to the reserve system gods and channel lots of positive energy by using words and phrases like, "this will be an awesome experience!" or "Outstanding!" when you are talking to or about to talk to scheduling.

Somehow, the Lords of Karma sense this sentiment and repay you with few hotel stays, many days at home, and great trips when they are assigned.

Otherwise you get screwed.

Oh. You have to wear your hat, too. Somehow they see when you don't have it on and "repay" you.

Good luck.

I know we have a lot of Wisconsinites and Vikings fans on here, but geeze. This guy in response to an 0-2 start tells reporters that:

1.) The Vikings have to win with the players they have. (Like his interceptions didn't have much to do with them losing and he is not the player that is the problem.)

2.) He has to resist the urge to press too much. (Like he has to compensate for the lack of talent around him and it has nothing to do with the fact that he conveniently misses training camp every year.)

3.) A Secondhand source said Farve might not have come to play for the Vikings this year if he had known one of his main receivers was hurt. (Like he was so forthcoming and let the team know the status of his injury throughout the off season.)

That guy has jumped to the top of my list as being the most unlikeable players of all time.

Again. Sorry for the creep. I just had to share my angst with the APC family. NFL rant over.

Go Bears! (Yes. I know their 2-0 start will turn into a 7-9 season Thanks.)

Hey New, I'm with ya bro. I'm a lifelong Packer fan and I used to idolize the guy. Make the pilgrimage from sunny SoCal to Lambeau once a year. Hell, the tail gates are worth the trip alone,

I started seeing that he wasn't "all that" when he threw 6 interceptions in a playoff loss against St Louis and blamed his receivers. In his last few years in Green Bay, he had his own locker room and, for three years in a row, played the "I think I'm going to retire" and not show up for OTAs game. Ted Thompson and Mike McCarthy simply got fed up with him.

He's got to be the most egotistical player in the NFL, and that's saying a lot! I wasn't unhappy to see him move on....and I am LOVING his failures this year. To quote a former boss of mine, trust me Vikings fans, "I feel your pain." You wanted him, you got him.

You've got to pull out your "sexy voice" when you talk to those guys. It definitely helps. I've even gotten to know a few and they're pretty decent guys.

That being said, pretty similar month for me as well.

Good luck tomorrow night.

With all due respect........a 2001 hire? Most of the airline is senior to you, maybe it's just water seeking it's own level.

Wow....irony. The ad at the bottom of this page is for Alaska Airlines...San Jose to Austin...traditional Alaska territory there, for sure.
