Airline Pilot Central Forums - Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?

What needs to happen is constant pressure and letters to your reps from now to the end of section 6 negotiations. That could be 2013. If you want this you need to make sure the fight lasts as long as it takes.

I think this is a good place to start for mid contract improvements, with out opening section 6.

I believe TWG 09-01 says otherwise. It told Delta North pilots that BP5 would hit the 744's first, then the A330/A320's, then the 757/DC9. The 757/DC9 BP5 is slated for January 2010, according to the memo.

I found an ALPA rag from 1992 (I believe) the other day, and the title was "Restoring the Profession"... Call me cynical, but the phrase is ringing hollow. I'm getting a little weary of "restoring", "taking it back" whatever the grand poobah decides is the phrase of his administration; it is getting old. Anyway..... it's deja vu all over again, I know how it ends, and it isn't in our favor. :mad:
