He's pretty unique as an active management pilot as well. He was one of the 49'ers (guess he was a threat to JK...)

I'm going to go back to reserve *****ing. We had 4 trips in open time starting in DTW tomorrow. They were covered at 8am this morning as usual. 0 trips have been assigned or in open time since. We have 7 pilots sitting short call tomorrow. According to the very company-generous short-call chart, we only need 5. I'll be surprised if 2 short calls are actually used tomorrow.

Well, they are assigning SC so they do not have to pass out GS's.

The only thing I know about a fleet Captain was that the Captain upgrades to the 756 were ****ed about who the 756 fleet Captain was. I was too new to really care, hate to say that, but it was something about early out back to the job and something else, anyways, angry.

Well 5 is their target. Doesn't mean they won't/can't add more. One of the things that needs to be fixed in our next contract IMO. How about a ratio of SC to LC? I wasn't originally assigned SC, but they just gave me a heads up 30 minutes ago for a conversion to SC. Guess it beats a call in the middle of the night.

Funny thing is she told me WX is headed in so they're adding SC's. I don't see any WX in the DTW forecast. Maybe she thought she was talking to a MSP guy. :rolleyes:

Considering the DTW 320 does a lot of NYC flying you might want to see how the weather is going to be that way over the next 30 hrs or so! :D
