Today I'm thankful for Pineapple Guy. :)

So much to be thankful for I don't know if I can list it all. I'm thankful for my Beautiful Wife & amazing Daughter who fill my life with joy and happiness everyday. I'm thankful for my wonderful family & friends who accept me for who I am. I'm thankful for our house, clothes, cars, motorcycle, & a job which provides the means to have all these things. I'm thankful to have a job that I enjoy so much. I'm thankful for all the people in this world who help make it such a beautiful place. I'm thankful for being so blessed everyday. I'm thankful I can wake up everyday and realize I HAVE these things to be thankful for. I'm thankful for being so loved, & for being able to love in return. Please take time today to be thankful for what you have, & to let your family let know how much you love them.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. :)

As a DAL south guy - I am especially thankful that we merged with NW. After seeing the USAIR fiasco play out and looking at what UAL/CAL might hold I think we should all indeed be thankful.

Profit Sharing - Although no way does it even come close to making up for what we lost/gave away/surrendered, it will still be nice to pocket some serious coin February 15th.

L & G thread - What an awesome reource to get obscure questions answered - usually within minutes and often with references - Thanks guys. Yeah, the rumors and college cheerleader pictures are not too bad either! ;)

Scoop :)

Well said Scoop! Happy Thanksgiving! :)

Not sure if that's sarcasm or not, but I'm thankful for you too, 80kts! :)

Everyone of us helps to make Delta great; and the thing I'll miss the most when I retire, are the guys I've had the pleasure to work with.

Het T, I'm in Palm Beach. How about picking me up and having me over for turkey dinner?

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone out there, flying the planes, serving the customers, moving the freight and sitting in hotels on this Thanksgiving.

So much to be thankful for: a healthy family, my daughter's 1st birthday today, a great job with Delta, a pleasant merger, and my conversion to DTW in a few days. No more commuting!

Happy Turkey day guys!!

It was time to dump ALPA 6 years ago when pensions started disappearing. Now we deserve to be abused by management. It's our own fault for not standing up for ourselves. I keep reading the same thing on here from different posters. If ALPA screws up just one more time (insert item of your choice - scope, raising retirement age, pension, ATP required to be airline pilot, crewpass, super pay for ALPA officers, etc.), they'll be gone. I'm convinced ALPA's not going anywhere and this career does not get any better. We'll be lucky to maintain current status quo.

For those out there that say the company doesn't upgrade into business class, stand at the gate sometime! Premium seats being given away left and right.

I would just look out for that. I can't offer any of the skiing advice you're looking for but it sounds fun.

It looks like for that flight over half of the 65 business seats were given away to coach revenue passengers. First and business class is given away so often no wonder why no one wants to pay for it.
