Congratulations Navy, that's 9 in a row.

At least that's how he explained it. Nothing like working for free just out of spite.
A little knowledge might help you here. The redbook/greenbook thing is pretty much dead. On the last Award 747-400, capt went down to 2198 or so and it was a mix of red and green guys. If the above was true it should have been solid former green guys which was no where near the case. There might be 1 or 2 guys out there with this intent but you are way off base on this one.

I think we should ask for 60 hour line guarantee and 65 hour reserve pay with doubling our hourly rates.

Not to forget the main point of any new contract: RULES and more important than rates.
Be real. doubling of payrates ain't gonna happen. Call it managing expectations if you want.. but it ain't gonna happen. 60 hour reserve guarantee is nice for featherbedding of jobs.. but... really? Pilots fly more, because they can. Now that everyone has tasted 100 hours/month.. that is the new norm. It will be portrayed as a pay cut by some on here.. already has... So... if you reinstitute a monthly cap, then you might be onto something, but good luck with THAT..

Well I was hoping for a green slip tomorrow.... The snowplows won't even plow.... But my diesel deere plowed right thru 18" of snow and my 530 ft. long driveway. I don't think my rear wheel drive wagon will get me to work...

It was sunny and 70 deg in Texas today. I just grilled steaks outside. Think we'll sleep with the windows open tonight. I'm forgetting I even have a job.

So what is the "policy" when commuters can't get to rotations/ short call due to such adverse weather and/or so many cancelled flights?
