It's nice to know Inhofe cares enough about our troops that he's willing to continue to put them on ACMI charters were crews are fatigued & pushed beyond their limits.

If ACMI charter crews are pushed beyond their limits, and I would argue that they are not since I spent 20 years flying similar schedules under the same guidelines, wouldn't the White House, Congress, the Senate and the Pentagon also be complicit? Don't know why your singling out Inhofe because he made a stupid decision in his Cessna.
Do you think 30 hours on duty is acceptable for civilian ops? |

He made many stupid decisions in his cessna. He is unrepentant. His input on aviation matters is higher than most. Dont try to defend the indefensible please. Also, Buzz are you trying to say you never heard of C141 crews falling asleep in flight...flying past their destinations....waking up at cruise to find everyone else asleep...etc...I have. |

To estimate your GROSS profit sharing check, my best guess is to add FLT PAY and FLT ADV from your YTD total on your 12/31/10 paycheck, and then multiply that number by 6.5%. Then take out all the taxes, dues, etc. to get your net amount.
Fed taxes were 25%; and GA taxes were 6%. FICA, ALPA dues, and DPMA were pulled out at their normal rates too. Still nothing on the "Pending ACH" at the Delta CU though. |
My profit sharing check was about the same size as my regional's yearly Christmas bonus (also a profit sharing check technically).

I thought we were supposed to get DC Plan, DPSP contributions for this as well. There is none on the pay statement. I had a total of 33% deducted from check.

Earnings statements are now available on DeltaNet. I just checked mine and the gross PS payout was 6.52% of FLT PAY + FLT ADV.
