A few weeks ago I was talking with the wife and she asked me if I ever had sex on an airplane.
So I told her, "yeah all the time, I get *******ed ever time I go to work"
She didn't find it that amusing, but I thought it was.
I'm definitely not as cool as that dad, but my LWRC A6 6.8mm SPC is much cooler.............I wonder how cool these two guys will be when we have " the chat ? "

Regards,
Bill
A boy is walking down the terminal with his mom when he sees a Northwest 747 parked next to a Delta 777. He ask his mom, "Why is that Northwest plane pregnant and that Delta one not." The mom replies, "I don't know son you need to ask a pilot that." A few moments later a confident and handsome Delta pilot walks by and the kid asks, "Why is the Northwest plane pregnant and the Delta one not?" The Delta pilot replies, "Well son, because at Delta we pull out on time!"

One more rumor that I heard on this trip from just one mechanic in MSP. He said that they were told that we are keeping the DC9's indefinitely and that we're parking those recently purchased md-90's in Mirana for the foreseeable future. He said that they have been told to resume "preventive maintenance" on the 9's and those 6 being parked in the fall will get their heavy checks.
I know it's just one mechanic talking (and he was missing a front tooth), but I was curious if anyone else has heard something similar and if this is credible. Doesn't make since that we would purchase a bunch efficient md90's and put them in the desert just because we don't want to do the interior mod's at this time.

If they are they better stop taking all of the deliveries from China. Had about four over the last six weeks come over.
If they are parking em, it is to put the glass mods in them, and or take out the galley mod!

From: Douglas Aerospace post production Flight Test & Work Around Engineering bulletin dissembler
We need something in the sweet spot of 100 to 130 pax with a 100 seat cost footprint. The E175 is a lot closer to meeting that need than an MD90, with the added benefit of outsourcing the CAPEX off our balance sheet. Wall St. seems to think anything outsourced is cheaper, regardless of whether it is true or not. (one unused resource available to ALPA is running and publishing our own analysis of the costs of outsourced flying and changing perceptions that we're just too darned expensive to perform the work we perform)
Hence the reason they keep saying "we hate RJ's" but keep signing contracts for more of the "RJ's" that offer mainline type amenities.
