Hey, has anyone seen this on travel net:

Unable to get Fare Quotes. Unable to retrieve Fare Quote. ERR57 - UNABLE TO PROCESS FLIGHT TIMES GIVEN

This is for a simple listing a month from now, why does it need a Fare Quote?

How many fNWA pilots does it take to change a light bulb?

10. 1 to change the bulb, and 9 to talk about how great the old light bulb was....

FTB: I've seen that message before. Although it references fare quotes the message means there was an error in processing. All listings run through the fare quote now so that buddy passes are processed the same way as passes. If you were using Firefox when you got that, you might try using IE to see if it will process the listing.

Speaking of the old bulb.....

No, seriously.

This business that to swap a trip there has to be adequate reserve coverage for all of the days the trip operates sucks.

Is there any talk of getting more authorized personal drops, or relaxing that restriction in the next contract? Or, does it somehow help with staffing?

You're at a dinner party with 20 or 30 of your closest friends. How can you tell who the pilots and flight attendants are?

The pilots are the ones stacking their dishes on the floor when their done eating. The flight attendants are the ones eating standing up and wiping their hands on the curtains.

What was the mating call of a DFW flight attendant:

(sung to the Bonanza theme)

Get it up
Get it in
Get it out
Don't mess my hair up

What makes a Delta pilot horny?

Putting on a black pair of pants and backing out of his driveway.

Agreed. That's pretty silly. Defeats the purpose of swapping out of open time in the first place.

To do a bit of bulb changing, at fNWA, if the trip didn't operate over a holiday or the transition, and was a legal swap, it HAD to be approved, despite the reserve coverage.

By the way, can we get rid of the month to month transition restrictions now? With paper bidding, yea, there was a point because of the interface. But that witch is long dead with PBS.

With no reserve coverage, putting in a PCS "swap with the pot" request is pointless. You're better off rolling the dice, putting your trip on the swap board as a drop, then white slipping the trip you wanted.

Gawd, I'm showing my age. Putting on a uniform just makes me hungry and sleepy now
