Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?

So FTB & 80ktsClamp are going 88=> Airbus, and I'm doing the reverse, Airbus=>88.
Just finished the CBT's, seems like a couple extra switch hits to do the same thing, no fly-by-wire, 2 IR's vice 3 with GPS, and a mag compass behind my cranium, but other than that, pretty much the same.

Funny. I forgot to bid. I have a reserve line wih the 24th off and all Saturdays and Sundays off. I'm going to forget to bid more often. I could not have asked for a better schedule.
Thanks, will remember that for the future...doesn't really matter for NOV since I'll be in MD-88 training all month.

On the 767, you press one button and it does three things. On the 88, you press three buttons and it does one thing.

Hey, I've been off the 88 for almost 2 years now (probably will be going back soon). But I've got 8,000 hours on the airplane. A few years ago when I was flying with a lot of new hires on the 88, I wrote a "tips and tricks" document. It's nothing earth shaking... just some helpful tips and a few gotchas to avoid, mainly line operational kind of stuff. Anyway, if you want it PM me and I can email it to you. Disclaimer: Since I've been off the airplane now for a while, I take no responsibility for anything in that document that might be in conflict with something that's changed since I left.
Hey Elvis, I'm staying on the 88 until my life on the 320 would be worth the jump over. I like the 320's trips better.
But I do love my 88. With more 90s coming and if trips really improve then I may not move.
On reserve for November and I am wondering how do I bid my golden days?
I'm always curious to see this but to get Thanksgiving and the Friday off as a REG pilot on ATL 88 B you need to be around 56%.
To do the same on RES you need to be... 95%. I just don't think they fly the 88 that much on thanksgiving day.

I have searched the PWA and can't find the answer.
I have a reserve line. I have OE the first couple of days. Then I have RES (S) and RES days.
What does RES (S) mean or stand for?
Thanks ...
