Exactly. No rep knows anything or has not given any direction on any sort of extension. They are working on the Section 6 opener next week in a Special MEC meeting.

Every Rep I have asked has easily stated that no negotiations are in the works over a mid term or early agreement. If there was they would be jinking and jiving around the question.

That said, it could change.

I suspect that much of these extension rumors are put out by the company to gauge the reaction of the group.

Not a surprise here. This is what happens when they don't have a union. We basically use negotiating capital to enrich them (and their cats), and they don't need to pay union dues.

Since the company will do everything possible to keep the union at bay, the FAs bascially get every QOL add-on we negotiate.

The company has to cost out everything we negotiate for us...for them, too.

I'm thinking about pushing union cards on them on every trip.

Well, since I'm a company man, I'll help them "gauge the reaction." Here's my reaction:

**** off. This one's going to cost you.

along those lines, is DALPA going to be "transparent" and "communicate" their opener after they submit it?

Hmm.......are you still buying Canadians beer? Hoser likes beer. Beer good for belly. Belly is under-boobs. Beer make women prettier. Pretty women have underboob. Beer make underboob appear easier. Therefore Hoser love beer.

(I wonder if I'll ever contribute something useful to this forum)

When asked through p2p it was responded that the opener would not be published until after it was presented.

ATL's C44 has their LEC meeting omorrowcat 10am. Anyone on here can go and ask them.

Fine moderator. Don't you ever tell me or anyone else to "take it to the other thread". Ever.

I heard by July. It would be 2 years and would be tied in with Fatigue/rest rules coming due in 2 years. 20% raise is the number I was told. Just a rumor.
