I can see it's getting me where I'm going, but wondering if there's a faster/better way to sign up for the future?
Thx

Try the US Airways employee number, 800-325-9999.

If you acknowledge a short call period on icrew at 1:30 PM are you obligated to recheck Icrew again at/after 3pm to see if there is any change? I'm guessing yes but couldn't find it in the contract.

Yes. You have to check it after 3 PM.
I always get a screen capture at 15:01. :)

If they are not swamped, Crew Skeds is usually pretty good about giving you a "courtesy call" in those before 3 PM situations.
They do it all the time. "Hey, I see you early-acknowledged your short call for tomorrow but we have a trip that came up".

They don't have to do that though. Legally, you have to check after 3.

Thanks. Sound about right.

Anybody able to post a fast primer on what I will need to make DeltaNet, iCrew and TravelNet work? The Safari doesn't seem to work.
Any other "must have" apps?
I am basically clueless on this smart phone stuff.

I like Siri though. I asked her "Who's your Daddy?" and she said "You are".

In order to check icrew and dlnet, you need the Journey browser. It's available in the app store (I think it's $0.99). When you open the app, put three fingers on the screen. That brings up the settings page. Under "Pretend to be" (towards the bottom of the screen) select "Firefox 3.0".

As far as other apps, here's a few to get started:

AeroWeather, for checking METARs & TAFs (Free)
My-Cast, for weather and Radar (Not free)
Weather Channel (Free)
The Delta app, for checking gate and flight info (Free)
FlightAware (Free)
USAToday AutoPilot (Free)

And of course... Angry Birds!

Anyone else want to chime in?

I downloaded Journey and when I try to put in my 8 digit passcode in I crew, the sign in box blanks after 7 digits. Anyone know a fix for that? I think the passcodes require a minimum of eight digits.
Used Foreflight with the I pad on a recent flight down to Phoenix in the 182. All I can say is nice not to have to use a bunch of paper sectionals anymore. Looking forward to Delta adapting the Ipads, if they ever do.

Siempre Rojo.

Try it with the caps lock on. Journey has a problem with lower case letters. I started using the atomic browser with my iPad because it allows you to save your login info so you don't have to type every time.
