Thanks for the reply. I didn't see anything in the contract requiring a 9 hr. prior check (this is for domestic). I checked what is considered a non-fly day and didn't see anything suggesting rest was a non-fly day.
Anyone else have any insight? Do we have to acknowledge anything while on rest? I can't find anything in the contract and it's a little late to call Alpa. Thanks. |
For Newk
The best part is telling Danny Sheradin to go to [radio edit]. |

There. Now I've done it. I'll see you guys next year after my ban is over. |
Hey I don't know why you guys are giving UAL such a hard time. I think he is the best mod we have ever had on here. Lord knows that ACL and that wimp 80 can't keep this wild bunch of yahoooz on the straight and narrow!
Gawd bless you UAL, you da man! |
Wow, ATL-PHX in a MD90. Sweet. There is life west of ABQ.

Sec 23. S.5.e.2.b:
A reserve pilot on long call will be notified of his assignment to open time under Section 23 N. or O. by one of 6 the following two methods: 1) telephone contact from Crew Scheduling. 2) electronic placement of a rotation or conversion to short call that is placed on his schedule prior to: a) his release from a rotation, or b) nine hours before the end of his last non-fly day (other than a vacation day) before an on-call day. Definition of an x-day (which think can all agree is a non-fly day is: “X-day” means a 24-hour duty-free period at a pilot's base, on a reserve line." - Sec. 23 definitions. |

Gawd bless you UAL, you da man! You listen to me, it's because of brown nosers like yourself that we, Delta pilots, are stuck with what is kosher for prime time television only. So, fine, Erin Andrews, she's on prime time tv, and now Jesse has to use his imagination. His imagination. I blame this on you... but I can't hate you, you acknowledged me. It's more than I get in my own house or at work. http://sammyvegas.files.wordpress.co...bsideline1.jpg |
