Tebow.
But Tebow vs Newk? And Mike Ditka vs God in a foot race, who wins? Tebow would beat the hell out of me. I'm getting old. I only workout nowadays to be strong and fast enough to get away. |

I think UAL was a bit wrapped around the axle. The political stuff was tame. The only thing that was a bit naughty was the nipple on CNI's sideboob post. We self regulate on this thread and for the most part do a pretty good job. It's funny that we see UAL as an outsider raining on our parade. Maybe he is upset that UAL is not getting profit sharing!!!!:eek:

That is 100% correct. We even self regulated out of the Tebow discussion a few months ago.
but I also don't eat protein cardboard bars and run marathons. 88 Captains know what that means. |

Budget cuts took out the C141. From D.C... oh wait. Can't say that. :D |
FWIW, don't take off with the tug still attached.

Sec 23. S.5.e.2.b:
A reserve pilot on long call will be notified of his assignment to open time under Section 23 N. or O. by one of 6 the following two methods: 1) telephone contact from Crew Scheduling. 2) electronic placement of a rotation or conversion to short call that is placed on his schedule prior to: a) his release from a rotation, or b) nine hours before the end of his last non-fly day (other than a vacation day) before an on-call day. Definition of an x-day (which think can all agree is a non-fly day is: “X-day” means a 24-hour duty-free period at a pilot's base, on a reserve line." - Sec. 23 definitions. So here's my thoughts in this scenario. I checked my schedule after 10am today. There was nothing on it. I get assigned a trip at 4pm while on rest. My thoughts are I don't have to acknowledge anything while on rest and I did the 9 hour prior schedule check. Since this rotation was not placed on my schedule prior to the 9 hours (10am) I revert to long call at 7pm. If they were to call and notify me between 7pm and 8pm then I would be on the hook. Would anyone agree or disagree? Thanks everybody. |
