Really? Wow. So, it seems that anyone who participated in the discussion got zapped.

Everyone has a bad day. It's tough being a referee.

Maybe he was having a day like this guy at the 4:00 mark.

I hope UAL has a sense of humor like him, too. :D

Probably a good idea. The other mods have decided to mod these pictures, and will give three day breaks for those that continue to post them after they have been warned.

Is there an bid preference option for "avoid mods with a stick up their @$$"?:D

Joke...but go ahead, pull it down.

I think UAL was a bit wrapped around the axle. The political stuff was tame. The only thing that was a bit naughty was the nipple on CNI's sideboob post. We self regulate on this thread and for the most part do a pretty good job. It's funny that we see UAL as an outsider raining on our parade. Maybe he is upset that UAL is not getting profit sharing!!!!:eek:

Thanks Amish! Hanging in there and moving forward. Are you from the College Park area? I went to high school in Northern VA.

Maryland Native, I lived in the Middle River area (near KMTN) when I was little and we moved to Annapolis when I was in Junior High School. The family is still there and I finished up my Reserve duty at Ft Meade (Tipton AAF).

Self-censorship is where we're at now? I didnt think your post was anything to worry about.

To the mods, I understand your point I guess, but why wasn't the DPA idea used? Make a post with a warning for everyone then deal with people who don't listen.

The short answer is yes - you have to check your schedule during 24 hrs off. I think the 24 hrs off is considered a non-fly day and requies a schedule check 9 hrs prior to the end of your 24 hrs off ( after 10am in your case) When scheduling calls has more detail or call ALPA.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't see anything in the contract requiring a 9 hr. prior check (this is for domestic). I checked what is considered a non-fly day and didn't see anything suggesting rest was a non-fly day.

Anyone else have any insight? Do we have to acknowledge anything while on rest? I can't find anything in the contract and it's a little late to call Alpa.

Thanks.

If we were in the legal world, I would say my speech has been chilled. But, this is APC world. So.....

I'll just say that I hope Yul Brynner played Big Ben this week and plays the part of Tom Brady next week.
