Just a Idea
On other forums that I follow, there is a section or a thread that is open to blow off steam (the bar, the basement, Jo mama, etc.). In these threads you are free to post what you want (underboob, politics, union talk or whatever) unless it is a attack on a person. So, when a post or posts start to get out of hand, the mods will suggest taking it to the basement, bar or whatever the thread is called. If you don't, then you get some time off. Think of this thread, like playing floor hockey with your brother (you love him, but anything goes).
Just a idea, we could calt it the Airport Bar, Hanger Bar or whatever.....Just a idea. |

Actually ACL, it wasn't a "they," it was a "he." We know he's new and we're pulling his chain a little. Some of the warnings, like mine for instance, were silly. Its ok. If he oversteps his authority and drives us off of APC, it'll be APCs loss and we'll find someplace else to go. Personally, I haven't seen anything tawdry or unprofessional take place recently. Peastain can go away, but other than that, I think we have a handle on it.

What Buzz said. Lets be honest here......APC lives on advertising and that is based on readers and posters. This thread is record setting because we all are friends standing around and talking in a bar. Some discussions are business, some are ball busting and some get out of hand but we pull our "friends" back in. I suggest you forward this little tiff (I've been in school and obviously missed the action cuz I haven't been flagged.....yet) up the chain. Ban a few of us and this thread comes to a stop and so does the ad money. I'll be as plain as I can. If this isn't a place I can come and enjoy the friendships I'm outta here, and I'll encourage as many others as I can to do the same. Ferd 80 and I are discussing it among the mods, and we will see where we go from here. |
I dont care about the political discussion. We all know where we stand on religion, politics, abortion, etc. There is no reason to discuss that here. But, if Jesse's cache of quality photos cannot find their way interspersed here, IMO that is just being prudish. No nipple, no other unmentionable, but really, side and underboob are definitely pg-13.
