How do we trade res days off?

You can request to MOVE X-days using PCS - under Schedules. You have to move them in such a way that the rules are not violated.

Quick question, when are you benched on reserve 70 hours or ALV?

Timbo 01-20-2012 11:15 AM

ALV or better.

You can move x-days. I hope you're kidding. Reserve is tough enough as is. It's even worse if you didn't know you could manipulate your schedule. Go to PCS, leave requests, move reserve days. It let's you move groups of x-days. If you are senior to me, then disregard the above.

No I am pretty good at moving days around especially when 9ers are playing. But, what I assumed you were talking about was actually being able to trade days with other pilots.

Does anyone know if there is a bus from the ATL training center to the airport?

There are two buses that take you to the airport. One picks you up at the main entrance (in front of OC1). DO NOT TAKE this one, because it'll take you to the loooooooong way around the airport, stopping at Tech Ops and cargo, before going to the terminal building.

The other bus picks up in the parking lot in the back. If you walk past the museum, you'll see a fence with an opening and the bus stop. That bus runs more frequently and goes straight to the terminal building.

Thanks! I called the CPSC and they helped me. But I did catch the loooong bus by mistake, so next time I'll follow your advice to save time. Still made my flight though, so I'm happy. :D

Thanks for your response as well. :)

The local hotels that have contracts with DAL make airport runs about every 1/2 hour. Sometimes they check to see if you're staying with them, but usually not.

The main hotel shuttle will usually take you right to the airport. Much closer than the MSP training facility is to the airport.

There are also several other shuttle from the GO and parking areas to the terminal. I think you can find info on the DLNET and look on the drop downs for Atlanta Campus.

Thanks much guys. :)

SOPA, shelved

The most significant existential threat to this thread and APC has been shelved for now. Congress has decided not to hold a vote on SOPA and PIPA after everyone from FOX News to Apple Computer agreed that this legislation threatened to effectively reduce our freedom of communication to something less than Chinese citizens currently enjoy.

Hollywood aint happy and they blame the internet for no one wanting to shell out $10 a ticket to enjoy movie theaters and $15 popcorn combo snacks to watch video games with all the narrative depth of a Justin Beiber video. We can expect SOPA, the sequel. Until then, lets enjoy cutting and pasting to our hearts' content.
