Yes, the reason was "capped reserve days" but I didn't think it only ran through the list once. So if you ask for PD on 15 and it is not available as the run goes by you, but goes to +7 as it goes junior to you and someone junior gets that day off, it's "oh well"?
If you keep it in you'll probably get it on a future run. Denny |

Yeah, that's bacon. This web site is open to the public and while we might think porn under the yoke clip is funny, a visitor to the flight deck would think us buffoons who probably should not be flying them around. Not to be the sort of prude I'm criticized, but there's a place for that stuff ... it probably isn't here, where people associate what's posted with our airline and our careers... JMHO. |

Nope & lets not invite the sort of trouble we had a week ago. Really.

Any clown can get an account here and post as a pilot from any airline. The public will think of us what they will, whether or not there are pictures of women wearing bacon on an obscure web board. What should we do about the damage Quagmire is inflicting on our profession? :D |

RNAV Phraseology Reference STAR Phraseology “Descend and Maintain” Instructs the aircraft to descend now (at a standard rate) to the newly assigned altitude and maintain that altitude until a new altitude assignment is received. The aircraft will disregard all altitudes published on the STAR. “Descend Via” Instructs the aircraft to laterally and vertically navigate on the Star and comply with published speeds. “Resume the Arrival” Instructs the aircraft to rejoin the lateral confines of the arrival only. Previously issued speeds and altitudes should be maintained. SID Phraseology “Climb and Maintain” Instructs the aircraft to climb now (at a standard rate) to the newly assigned altitude and maintain that altitude until a new altitude assignment is received. The aircraft will disregard all altitudes published on the SID. “Resume Normal Speed” Instructs the aircraft to comply with the speeds published on the SID. “Delete Speed Restrictions” Instructs the aircraft to disregard all previously issued speeds including speeds on upcoming portions of the RNAV SID. “Resume the Departure” Instructs the aircraft to rejoin the lateral confines of the departure only. Previously issued speeds and altitudes should be maintained. This is exactly the problem - too much chance for confusion, partially blocked radio calls, or just plain Pilot or Controller error. It should be either: 1. Fly the SID as published or 2. Radar vectors. The whole purpose of the SID is to reduce radio transmissions, standardize departures, reduce the chance of errors and probably a few other reasons but it seems that whole process just adds to the confusion requiring more radio calls and a greater chance of error. What good is a STANDARD Instrument departure if it is not standard??? Obviously controllers need the capability to flex, but if you are modifying the "standard" procedure 90+ % of the time something aint right. Just my 2 cents. Scoop |

Yeah - but you don't want it. It departs from the main entrance to the corporate headquarters (Across the street) and first goes to the TOC and then the airport. The whole thing can take 20-25 minutes. Now I just back to the hotel and transfer to the airport shuttle or even better get a ride with a cool instructor. A lot of instructors will offer a ride if they know you are catching a flight. Never expected - but always appreciated. Scoop |

. I agree with Bar, copy and paste would've died for sure. I think 98% of the Internet is copyrighted and not to be reproduced or shared without the expressed written consent of major league baseball or the pornographer who took the pics. |
