The update section said it was a legal play. But how's about reviewing that lateral again if we're going to go tit-for-tit?

But to keep this bitter subject of Tebow on topic with Delta, there is a time and a place to be bitter and there is a time and a place to let it go.

[redacted... story about a pilot trying to talk a kid out of his life long dream of being a Delta pilot. No other details are required. Except one, when talking to a 17 year old just please understand that they don't know what a pension is and if they did they probably know enough not to trust a pension to last. So don't make the #1 reason not to become a Delta pilot because they took away the pensions. Let the kid have his dream and pursue it, for crying out loud he has scholarships to school so he's working hard. Facepalm]

Sulu always hated it when Uhura got to monitor the Distress Frequency. I'd like to think we've come further than that in the last 40 years.
If man on man hook ups are happening on the distress frequencies then Sulu had good reason to be upset.

"You want to know about hiring caller? We are hiring like mad. At Alaska and our other Delta Connection carriers. Actually, thats an assumption. We are probably hiring like mad at our soon to be acquired Hawaiian branch. Hiring here? Why? We're busy outsourcing."

Stupid question ... does MLOA reduce the number of star days you receive if sitting reserve?

Example ... February has 29 reserve days for the month which according to the chart allows for 12 "X" days. If you have MLOA scheduled, does it reduce your reserve days and thus your "X" days?

That's what I mean, if Oha... Ohare? Uwhora? Uhura.

Anyways, what Boomer was saying was that Sulu was jealous because she always got to monitor intergalactic Guard frequency. And now that we know Guard is used for George Michael bathroom style hookup arrangements and general emergencies and lost aircraft stuff, then we know why Sulu is so mad. He's missing out.

You know how you know who is looking for a hook up on Guard? They're the ones that say angrily "ON GUARD." They're testing you. It's like they just wrote on the wall, FOR MANLY LOVE BE HERE MARCH 25TH AT 2:15AM SHARP.

Sort of like this scene from Dumb and Dumber: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oloPwQ9uN-o

I'd post it but he is using the bathroom and I don't know if I'm allowed to post that. It's not for prime time tv. At least not that I know of FCC rules. Of course Glee is, and I can't post some of the pictures from Glee. I mean it took me a moment to realize what scissor sisters might mean. But of course I never went to FSU.

And to keep this relevant to Delta, this is what the largest single fleet of Delta mainline jets looks like:

Wait, that's not mainline! But it's the largest fleet but boy they trick you. All you can read is Delta. You'd think they'd have to write Connec... oh they did. Boy is that hard to see.

I believe that 31JAN and 01MAR are both part of the FEB bid month so that the period is actually 30 days.

Yes and yes--there's a chart at the beginning of every bid package I always skip over (and it's probably in the contract) that shows how many X days you receive per number days of availability.

i believe rahc is correct regarding next month being a 30-day bid period.

I generally add mil leave after the bids come out...because my reserve schedule isn't terribly firm that far out, and waiting helps me manage those variables better. I can then bid x-days for mil leave if I choose (or not). I don't abuse mil leave, but I'm also not going to hose myself if I can legally/morally avoid it.

Does your husband look at his iphone and get angry and then tries to disappear while the kids are screaming and needing to be fed?

Does your husband become angry if you mention the word, DALPA? How about DPA?

Does it seem like your husband has found an outlet for his boring airplane related shop talk?

I'm laughing so hard inside because I'm afraid I'm going to wake up my daughter! You're absolutely killing me.

It is kind of funny hearing the guard police have a conniption, but it doesn't excuse a total lack of regard of reasonableness on guard.

Try air-air over the tracks.
