Btw, Hermans wife is on a roll. Her blog is a riot. The polygamy crash pad had my wife rolling in laughter. Reminded us of our crashpadder and hot tub parties. Neighbors gave us weird looks.
Thanks HP... Ya'll are Always Welcome! www.angrypilotwife.blogspot.com is really catching on. The wife has decided to donate any ad revenue generated over the next year to FriendsOfMel. So, spread the word.

Default Look on Deltanet

Nothing to do with MIL LEAVE.

There is a memo on Deltanet that says if you are married or have a "travel companion" then your parents are S3B for oceanic and pay $75 per travel day and taxes for the privilege. If you are single and don't have a "travel companion" then your parents can fly oceanic as S3 and no $75 fee.

When you look on travelnet, if married or have a companion, you will see the S3B unlimited and still able to schedule oceanic, but you will be assessed the $75 fee per travel day.

For those of you who think I'm too hard on acl65pilot when I say he's utterly politically motivated and speaks out of all sides of his mouth in order to be all things to all people, I'm reposting this as just the latest example of why I say that. The exchange above was in reference to acl saying the following:

Notice that he mentions nothing about an independent union resulting in ALPA's failure. He clearly states that if our independent union were to fail, we'd not get to come back in to the ALPA "fold" the way FDX did. A clearly preposterous and emotional outburst. But that happens to everyone from time to time. It's OK. But does acl65pilot admit the statement was out of order? Not a chance. He turns it around and claims he's been misunderstood and what he really meant was this:

This is why I post strongly when acl does this stuff. While there are others here with whom I disagree, at least these folks don't try to pretend to be something they're not. Only acl65pilot does this. It's destructive to his reputation, but it's more destructive to our newer pilots who may think he's actually looking out for them.

I am not even going to respond to your post. Guys prefer not to hear more of it and I will respect that. We can argue this in NRT. I'll buy.
