Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
The military channel isnt what it used to be...
Setting the lawn on fire with kerosene really is an evil genius idea. Are you trying to take over the tri-state area?
Thanks HP... Ya'll are Always Welcome! angrypilotwife is really catching on. The wife has decided to donate any ad revenue generated over the next year to FriendsOfMel. So, spread the word.
I judge "never fly" using the sliding FTB scale. FTB never flies, but sometimes he flies, but he doesn't collect FPL when he posts here so he's not on the MEC. Sometimes he plays devils advocate and often has the pulse of the pilot group, more reason he's not on the MEC.

Thanks for the flattery, usually I'm the one doing that.

That's so hot.
I know, my little yellow overspeed warning is popping up.
The little monkey wee-wee pops up on the FO control column when you go to fast. It just kind of pops up ever so slowly. When it's there, you're embarrassed. I was laughing about it during training and my wife asked "you don't have to touch it do you?"
Not long ago I was flying with this Captain and at one point he mentioned his dad was in the war. I said, he was in world war II? No, actually World War I. Infantry I believe. His dad was an old man when he was born.
That said, turns out the 10th President John Tyler who was born in 1790 and President from 1841-1845 still has grandsons alive. It's what happens when you have a son at 63 and he fathers sons in his 70s and those sons live a long time as well.
Dirty old men. Seriously, what do they think they are, L1011 Captains?

I used the place run by Todd Napoletano (info available via this link along with other options). Todd's place was top notch, at least the one I was in. Walking distance to LGA bus stop that takes you to other side of the airport.
Hmmm. We may have been in the same pad at one time. Crazy twa/aa flight attendants and the sauna shower. One drunken evening an aa pilot bid the 767er for me. Oops, I got it for awhile. Luckily im back on my sexy maddog.
Barring another merger, and management's need for our cooperation in some fashion.. what kind of leverage is it that you think will gain us anything north of 20%? Which brings up an interesting question: Since you and many of the other DALPA bashers think that "constructive engagement" is a waste of time, do you think that standing with arms akimbo and telling management that if they don't give us C2K ++ that we won't cooperate in any alleged merger will get us that? Really?
Thanks for the last 30 or so posts on DALPA vs DPA. That was a fast read! So for the end of the month of January, here is Ms January Jones!

First of all, why would you think manangement would need our "cooperation in some fashion" with there next merger? What could we do to stop it? Threaten to hold our breath until we turn blue and pass out?
That being said, find one post here where I have said constructive engagement is a waste of time?
Back to leverage.
We have an opportunity for real leverage this time around in Sec 6. It has been ten years since we last did this. Technology is far more advanced that it was ten years ago. While you ponder this leverage, consider what the cell phone, internet, and social websites did in Tahir Square, Egypt. Saqba, Syria. Sirte, Libya. I am somewhat confident you can figure it out.
Oh Wait, did you go to public Tennessee schools?
