Not much of a rumor... first I have heard the number 67 mentioned...

Default PBS Question

Is it possible to bid for two consecutive one day rotations and request"all or nothing?" And if so - how?

For example: Rotation 1000 on the 10th and rotation 1000 on the 11th - but only if I can be awarded both. I thought I remember seeing this as option but am not sure.

Thanks

"...the MEC is committed to achieving significant improvements throughout our scope language....We do not support any larger aircraft at DCI, jet, turbofan, or turboprop."

I'm trying not to be suspicious, but this looks like awfully careful wording. I think they are saying they will not attempt to recapture DCI scope, but will try to prevent it from getting worse. Why didn't they say "we do not support any MORE aircraft at DCI" or even better, "We strongly support an effort to decrease the amount of Delta flying done by DCI?"

"My best friend said she saw you at lunch with another girl today. I want to know - are you seeing someone else?"

"Well, I understand your concern, loud and clear. And my answer is this: I had a steak for lunch today."

If you think they can comment with specifics while in Section 6, you are kidding yourself.

So it's 67 now? That's a new one!

It will be a long time before any sort of retirement age change comes into play... think about how many years it took to change the age 60 rule to 65.

NERD-

I have training in June, also. I was able to see it in the PBS calendar earlier in the week. You may want to take a look there.

How many folks could even maintain a medical that long? Nasty things tend to happen to people around the mid to late sixties that are simply out of our control.

I still cringe in embarrassment for the person that said that about the DL manuals.
