oh crap, the landing currency warning is for real...
I have to say, I've benefited mightily from the bucket system at 80 and next month, I'll be seriously confusing the neighbors on whether I just collect unemployment... and I still think bucket 1 should be lower!

I don't know where you guys are getting these numbers, but I know they are not correct for past hiring. Even for people without really strong "connections." Just apply regardless of if you think it will be enough, you never know they might like the college you went to, your extra activities, or whatever. I applied really hoping to get hired, but I thought there was no way I would get an interview, but knew it would be worth it to show interest while I continued to build time, and then surprise I get an invite. Don't let numbers you hear keep you from trying.
I've heard that they like to see volunteer activities..... However, I can't see on airlineapps where there is a spot for anything like this. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
