Delta Hiring News

It's a southern airline, I think BBQ sauce stains are preferred.
Seriously though, I feel bad for applicants today....there's almost too much gouge and information floating around out there. Recruiting conferences, fashion advice, what to study, who to get friendly with, it makes my head spin. Back before Al Gore invented the internet, I snail-mailed Delta for a paper application, filled it out, and sent it back in. I bought a suit without fretting about the color of my tie, read whatever I could find in the Library about Delta and showed up at the interview. I do remember spending a lot of time on my 'Resume'....do they even have those anymore? Looking back, I have no idea how in the world I ever got hired (and probably wouldn't get the nod today!).

If so, does that imply that you might get a call for an interview?
Finally, anyone got any tight gouge on the Delta testing that they would be willing to share?
Thanks!

I attended the WIA job fair in 2013 and received an interview invite in the initial batch of emails that went out. At the time I had only one internal rec and no other Delta connections period. 2100 TT, mostly F/A-18 and about half IP time.
I think the having a military background and IP time helped but I would consider my quals average at best and my TT well below the norm. Point being that I think attending the WIA conference and getting some face time with their HR and pilots definitely helped me out.
Worst case, you'll fork out a good amount of $$ to attend but you'll leave feeling pretty jazzed up about the current situation and all the movement coming in the near future.

I agree, Delta would be a great option to talk to at WAI.
