Forgive me if I missed it but do they ever call for more than just the next class. It seems that they call for 2 weeks notice for the up coming class only. Do they ever call for a month or more out. Like now for end of Jan into feb or mar?

Normally it's 4-5 week notice prior to class date. If they are running more frequent classes I imagine there will be some overlap with multiple classes being assigned at the same time.

Any further details on this... Are we talking 4x classes per month (1 per week?!)... Any specifics about class size?

Throughput should remain about the same. Probably should have actually taken notes instead of daydreaming! I think it was said 3-4 classes a month.

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving everybody! I'm thankful for the winding road God has brought my family on to this point. All the best to you and yours.

Which throughput? The throughput we would have had with 110-120/month or the throughput we've had since the summer up to now? Seems like just having more classes with ~ 25/class wouldn't ameliorate the excessive wait for OE.

IMO we are still looking at at least 80-120 per month, no factual data to back that up except it would make sense to staff early in the year to ramp up ready line pilots for summer plus prior rumors from above posts.

just hope we start getting calls next week for the first class of 2016. Somebody ask AF when he calls you for the plan. I would think training has come up with somewhat of a plan for early 2016 by the time calls go out again.

It actually would because you have people coming off of class weekly ready for ioe instead of a giant batch twice a month

Good watches?

Random question here...
Anyone got a recommendation for a relatively cheap watch that shows multiple time zones, with one auto updating to whatever city I fly into and the other staying on momma and the kids?

I keep my watch on my home time zone and reference my iPhone time for local.

Timex "Ironman Triathlon" has 3 time zones you can set. I keep one on GMT, one on home, and one on local wherever I'm at. It doesn't automatically update, but it's an inexpensive way to keep track of different times

Apple Watch; can customize, automatically updates, and at $350 is "relatively cheap" when compared to a Breitling or Rolex... I travel world wide in my guard job and love it!
