The start date is 4 Jan. I am a 7 May CJO. The first two from our day are in the Dec class. That left 9 of us. They called the first five today. The rest of us are expecting tomorrow. The word is the class is 32 total with 4 of those being flows/SSP (I can't remember which one everyone said is done). That means 28 OTS. After 7 May that leaves 19 spots. I am the last person, seniority wise, from 7 May. No one had gouge on the number of class for the month of Jan. I plan to ask If no one else does.

Only 5 called up in a day? How long is the typical notification conversation? I'm sure you May CJOs chomping at the bit with short, positive answers!

It's not always about the conversation. Sometimes they call and folks aren't available, they leave a message and wait for a call back. That could take a while depending on the situation. They don't move on until they can verify the response of the individual because of seniority. This happen more when they get close to the end of the class because they can't skip anyone in line. Plus I'm sure there is more to his job then just making phone calls. 😀

I know how that feels after only our first two made it in to the Dec class. My guess would be your in the next class. You'll probably get called right before Christmas. Heck of a sweet present this year.👍

I've noticed that he doesn't really start calls until later in the afternoon too. So he probably can only get a few in until it's time to go home, especially if he has to wait for call backs.

Calls today started around 10 EST.

I got my call on the golf course and KJazz was there! Calls don't take long but like KJazz said, they can't fill the class unless they have made contact because of seniority. Looking forward to hearing the good news tomorrow! Too cold and rainy for golf though. :(
