what's your source? It is possible the emails are going out in batches just like they did two weeks ago.

I guess if 4 guys in the July 1st interview group have already left for other jobs then their is probably a good chance that the other groups have that many that have left as well. Does anyone that interviewed prior to July 1st know if anyone has already left? That's probably the biggest variable to badgers spreadsheet. He doesn't have much data based on guys that have already left for other airlines. So it might be much sooner for a lot of guys if those numbers keep up.
8 Feb is supposedly a class of 32 (was posted on here, I don't have inside gouge).
According to Badger's spreadsheet, 44 OTS dudes were called for that class:
Final 3 dudes from 3 June, 9 from 4 June, 11 from 9 June, 10 from 10 June, and 11 from 11 June.
That's +20% attrition. Some may be defers that trickle into later classes, but I'd bet most are probably gone to UAL/AA/SWA/FedEx.
... Obviously nothing solid, but some anecdotal evidence for guys trying to account for attrition during their swim.
Cheers,
BUSTED

If you pull 717 in the next few classes you may get to go to Brisbane for sim training. They're looking at using it for a few months (Feb-March) while the sims here in ATL are in transition to campus.

Spouse can come out anytime. That being said for the Jan 19 class the spouse travel arrangements were made about 1-2 weeks before class. They can stay with you the whole time if you want but realize you are busy and they may be bored. YMMV

That would be awesome. There was mumbling about that over a year ago but they were fully utilized by another company at the time.

What do you mean "sims here are in transition to campus." ?

DL bought the sims from Boeing; the two ATL 717 sims have previously been located at a Boeing facility south of the airport (in a, um, "charming" neighborhood...). They're in the process of moving the first over to the main sim center; I don't know the timeline for that to be complete, nor for the second to be moved.
Obviously, while in transit (to include take-down & re-build), the sim will be unusable. I hadn't heard the Brisbane rumor--what a good deal that would be!

No...
The two sims in Atlanta are moving from the Boeing facilities off Old National to the main Delta campus (to 2 sim bays in OC2).
Delta does not want the sim in Miami. It was built by Flight Safety, and plagued with issues over the past few years. The two Atlanta sims were built by CAE, as was almost every other sim on the main Delta campus. This was a large factor in why Delta exercised their option to buy them.
If (I believe when) Delta gets another 717 sim, they will likely have CAE build them one from scratch, probably as part of a larger package deal with several devices.
