During his tenure in alpa and as mec chair....i had many issues with JMs perceptions, priorities, and judgement.
Most notably when at an open mec meeting in 2005ish when he proclaimed to the crowd "....and THAT is why Capt Woerth is our national chair.....because HE has the answers to the hard questions......"
An endorsement that came immediately after DW answered my question with the absurd historical narrative that...."....up until a couple of years ago.....no one had ever heard of airline bankruptcies and pension failures......"
This from pilot that started with branniff.....a bankrupt airline with a failed pension plan.
But JM never gave me a reason to question his commitment to getting the best contract possible (from his perspective) for the pilot group.

You are WRONG!!! The 3B6 TA was the negotiation of the 777 and 73N rate!!! The profit sharing elimination was before that in a LOA and traded the 6% profit sharing for pay raises. We did not vote on the profit sharing swap, we did vote on 3B6.

Not sure that's correct. The 73n and 777 agreements were however two different LOA's. They were not combined as the one post suggests.

Correct - and I didn't say that, someone else did. But it was the LOA that had the 777 and 767-400ER payrates in it. It also gave up all profit sharing. Find Negotiator Notepad C2K-2, dated October 5, 1999, and read it. That tells it all.

Find a copy of the Negotiator's Notepad C2K-2, published October 5, 1999 and read it. It was for 777 and 767-400ER (NOT the 73N, that was a separate LOA) that gave up profit sharing. It was also subject to MEMRAT.

Yes we did. We gave up profit sharing for a raise and the final elimination of B scale at mainline. It was done without Memrat. The C scale remained at Express. It may have occured in 1998, the 777 and 73N rate agreement was a different agreement, which did go to Memrat. I voted no on that one.
