How's it going?
I'm reading that committed no sellers are bringing "computers, cameras, and pre-written and rehearsed speeches". Delta pilots filming each other, and delivering rehearsed speeches.
Sounds like good, clean fun.

But you're fine if DALPA filibusters the proceedings with "rehearsed speeches?
Would you be upset if a Delta pilot working for DALPA filmed other Delta pilots? Are you OK when managment films a base visit with "Delta pilots" to post online for guys who couldn't make it? Why are you afraid of transparency?
Let's see the video and let us decide for ourselves.
why do I think that kind of transparency would be problematic for sinkr8, Donatelli and friends?

I applauded those that have gone to the meeting prepared with counter talking points to engage in respectful discussion. Isn't that what ALPA is striving for?

Fair enough. The NC does endorse this thing, as previous NC's did endorse the TA's I've seen. I've never seen a road show that I personally felt was impartial enough, as a result. I don't like it when people tell me how to vote.
Isn't that the way we all feel?
I'm OK with having opposite viewpoints, and people arguing their case, but there is a fine line. It gets crossed when people convince themselves that they HAVE to get other people to vote their way, and everything is fair game. One vote isn't superior to another, no matter how strongly you feel about it.
If you're neutral in this, in that room, in the middle of a PED recording frenzy, and rehearsed speeches, are you going to even ask a question that is a question instead of an accusation?
At some point, a hard "no" sales-job gets so ridiculous in its' attempt to overcome a "yes" pitch, that it becomes self-limiting.

I don't think it's necessarily trying to persuade them to vote no, but we no voters feel that we have to educate the pilot group about all the negatives since ALPA won't do that. The road show in ATL was 40 mins talking about pay then they wanted to "plow through this real quick" when it came to the sick leave concessions!
