Well, let's look on the bright side of life.

All of you have big noses.

With Moakism, Delta Connection, once on the verge of choking on its own excess, will now rise from the ashes and grow more productive, more profitable and fly further and faster than ever before.

With Donayellism, we all now can spell P.E.B.

With Donayelli plus Moakism, we live just as Jesus commanded the rich man, go, sell all your scope to your international friends, and follow Lee. Wait. Follow Jesus? No Lee. Lee? General Bobby Lee? No, that's not pc today. Follow Lee.

We now know that section 3 pay charts trump everything including common sense, we are moths to a flame.

We know now that first officers are all guilty of having a good deal and all shall be punished.

We know now that everyone is lying when they call in sick and should be punished accordingly, and the punishment is just and right.

We know now that everyone is to work Christmas and that the pilots are too highly paid to get holiday pay and thus should get nothing and like it.

Yup, but even that was a 'failure' in my opinion, we traded profit sharing for those two 3% raises we were told we'd never see!

I'll tell you exactly what I would have done differently, then and now. I would have cranked up the Family Awareness Network years ago, and educated the pilots on exactly how many Billions of OUR money was being used to;

1. pay down the debt
2. buy back stock
3. enrich Management with bonuses

Then I would have added up how many billions Delta saved by not funding our DB plans any more, and then I would have taken our 2004 pay rates, added inflation for every year, and put that down as our opener, NOW, not in 2018!

In short, I would have done everything we did leading up to C2K, including the tie tacks that said,

"Restore the Profession"

Then I would go straight to Wall Street, and bring in the NMB, and let them know that there will be NO MORE BILLION DOLLAR STOCK BUYBACKS until the Pilot Group is RESTORED, in PAY AND in Benefits.

Now, I doubt Ed would invite me to his next birthday party, in his new Condo on Miami Beach, but I can live with that. I'd rather drink beer with you guys at the Parrot in FLL!

Lifes simple truths.

Ed was around for the infamous '49ers episode.

Life of Brian is a hilarious flick.

No matter how many times Lucy tee's it up.....delta pilots will (try to ) kick the ball.

Some things in life are bad
They can really make you mad
Other things just make you swear and curse
When you're chewing on life's gristle
Don't grumble, give a whistle
And this'll help things turn out for the best...
And...
...always look on the bright side
of life...
(Whistle)
Always look on the light side
of life...
(Whistle)
If life seems jolly rotten
There's something you've forgotten
And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing
When you're feeling in the dumps
Don't be silly chumps
Just purse your lips and whistle
- that's the thing.
And...always look on the bright
side of life...
(Whistle)
Come on.
Always look on the right side
of life...
(Whistle)
For life is quite absurd
And death's the final word
You must always face the curtain
with a bow
Forget about your sin - give the
audience a grin
Enjoy it - it's your last chance
anyhow.
So always look on the bright side
of death...
(Whistle)
a-Just before you draw your terminal breath...
(Whistle)
Life's a piece of ****, when you look at it
Life's a laugh and death's a joke, it's true
You'll see its all a show, keep 'em laughin as you go
Just remember that the last laugh is on you
And...
Always look on the bright side
of life...
(Whistle)
Always look on the right side
of life...
C'mon Brian, cheer up
Always look on the bright side
of life...
Always look on the bright side
of life...
Worse things happen at sea you know.
I mean - what have you got to lose?
You know, you come from nothing
- you're going back to nothing.
What have you lost? Nothing.
Always look on the right side
(I mean) of life...
what have you got to lose?
You know, you come from nothing
- you're going back to nothing.
What have you lost?
Always (Nothing.) look on the right side of life...
Nothing will come from nothing ya know what they say?
Cheer up ya old bugga c'mon give us a grin!
There ya go, see!
Always look on the right side of life...
(Cheer up ya old bugga c'mon give us a grin! At same time)
There ya go, see!

Default Got me ta thinking about Monty Python.

Eric Idle was a sharp guy. The next song from Meaning of Life is educational. (and correct.)

Galaxy Song Lyrics
"Galaxy Song" was written by Idle, Eric/du Prez, John.

Whenever life gets you down, Mrs.Brown
And things seem hard or tough
And people are stupid, obnoxious or daft
And you feel that you've had quite enough

Just remember that you're standing on a planet that's evolving
And revolving at nine hundred miles an hour
That's orbiting at nineteen miles a second, so it's reckoned
A sun that is the source of all our power

The sun and you and me and all the stars that we can see
Are moving at a million miles a day
In an outer spiral arm, at forty thousand miles an hour
Of the galaxy we call the 'milky way'

Our galaxy itself contains a hundred billion stars
It's a hundred thousand light years side to side
It bulges in the middle, sixteen thousand light years thick
But out by us, it's just three thousand light years wide

We're thirty thousand light years from galactic central point
We go 'round every two hundred million years
And our galaxy is only one of millions of billions
In this amazing and expanding universe

The universe itself keeps on expanding and expanding
In all of the directions it can whizz
As fast as it can go, the speed of light, you know
Twelve million miles a minute and that's the fastest speed there is

So remember, when you're feeling very small and insecure
How amazingly unlikely is your birth
And pray that there's intelligent life somewhere up in space
'Cause it's bugger all down here on Earth
