Let's see...could it be because the daily tick chart of DAL matched almost exactly the SP500 for the day?

Good grief tsquare.

Oh, that's right...you no longer have one.

Moak....along with his predecessors.....has parlayed the line pilot provided platform of union leadership into a multi million dollar compensation package.....so your observation of "put a few million in my pocket...and you can have my seat"......is EXACTLY what moak has done.

You may not care.....but I don't want my union leadership to have anywhere to go when they leave office....except BACK to the house they have built.

you laude moak as having put 'a lot' of money in your pocket......but what you are apparently unable to comprehend...is it is that very same organic entity he has so richly benefitted from.....is also, in its gross failings....responsible for taking millions out of that very same pocket.

Fine. Let it continue to eat you. I've moved on. My investments have all done fairly well until this idiotic Greece thingy, and I no longer mourn the loss of the DB. at all. Lee Moak had to rub sleeves with Washington DC people. I'd rather sell meth. Carry on.

That doesn't answer the why Einstein.

Oh yes, we can have worse representation. Much worse. And you've been around long enough to know why survey data is proprietary. When you are playing poker you don't show the other side your hand.

Unbelievably dumb comment. Beyond dumb.

The Delta pilots have found their voice.

If ALPA doesn't do the right thing there will be others who will step up to lead the fight for a representation election. Caplinger won't be a factor.

The clock is ticking.
65-35 was an astounding and unmistakable repudiation of our current leaders.
If Donatelli and the rest of the old guard attempt to hang on to power, I think we will see the removal of ALPA as our bargaining agent.

I think that would be a mistake.
But if the permanent ALPA guys refuse to step aside that's exactly what will happen.

Agreed. DPA is not the only option if the group decides that sweeping change is in order.

You're screeching again Carl. And I could live with either way this went down. I am where I want to be. But this is really going to be interesting going forward. For example, if those airplanes don't show up, there is gonna be a lot of crow eaten around here.

And you think you know how I voted, but you will never know for sure.;)

Sure it does tsquare. DAL stock performed exactly like the SP500 on the day of the NO vote. That's "why" the stock moved up. The vote had no role in the stock's performance. Wall Street gave a unanimous yawn.

BobZ....very well said.

And several of the younger Alpa YES reps have seen this play out and aspired for the same path and payout. Apparently selling out your pilots that trusted you and elected you can be a lucrative business if left unchallenged by their constituents.

They are the next generation of Moak disciples 2.0 thirsty for greater wealth under the auspice of volunteering to represent pilots.

I will give Moak credit in one area though....at least he was original. Constructive engagement....that guy was slick. Lee left the bank with a truck full of money and the rest of his minions that helped enrich him just got pinched. Off to the clink boys....enjoy the line.
