Just got off the phone with Anderson... he's very disappointed in all of you "no" voters. As the DCI carriers dry up and the slave wages evaporate, Delta's profit margins will be razor thin. You guys and gals should have been happy with what you were given.

In a weird turn of events, my morale just skyrocketed! Cant wait to go back to work with a giant smile on my face and a feeling that we are a strong pilot group once again. So proud to wear the Delta uniform and so proud of my fellow Delta Pilots!

I can only hope that was typed with tongue in cheek.... If not I will say it was not just about what we were "given" it was about what was being taken away. Still can't believe some of you yes men..

"If they drag it out for 2-5 years, I will keep my PS at $2.5b trigger and decent work rules. Its a win win for us. No need to rush and lets only sign a great TA.
We keep our JV
We keep DCI where it is
We keep our Profit Sharing
We keep OE trips
We keep reserve rules
We keep (insert whatever is important to you here)"

This United pilot thanks the Delta pilots for telling ALL airline "management" teams that they should negotiate contracts in good faith, because the days of just "rolling over" from fear are no longer a guarantee.
Well done.
Well done.
